The Woozleweb is named after my middle child, who is affectionately known as Woozle (though not in public) I started it years ago and then lost interest I guess. Now I am trying to resurrect my blogging ability and show a few of things that I dabble in throughout the day. My thought is that it will contain mostly craft projects and family activities but we shall see how it morphs over time.

Adam's birthday stitches.
Spring Break and we are all taking our time getting up for the day which enables me to have a shower in my own time while the kids are still playing in their pyjamas, and I get to blow dry my hair, quite a treat, and as it turns out it blocks out all noise. So when Summer flies into the room. "Mom Adam has hurt his head and he's crying" I nonchalantly say something generic and unphased like "ok honey thanks for telling me, he can come and see me if he wants" and then I go back to drying my hair. Summer returns with the next report "he won't come to you there's too much blood" Now she's got my attention. I run downstairs to see a trail of blood from the stairs to the kitchen sink and Adam convered in blood and trying to wash it off with water, therefore blood all over the sink and kitchen countertops too. I try to convince Adam that I need to see what happened. eventually I find the source of the blood. He has a vertical cut at this hairline about an inch long. I throw everyone in the car and we are off to the hospital, Tom calls on the way and diverts me to the Drs office where he is standing at the front doors. While I park the car, Tom, in full uniform carries his bleeding son to the reception, turns out you get much faster attention this way. So they inject four syringes worth of novocaine into the open wound and 3 stitches later he is all fixed up. Fun day!
Oh... yes... urm Matthew has dropped his entire wooden pulley system from the top of the stairs on Adam who is looking up from the bottom of the stairs.
Oh... and it's Adam's birthday tomorrow.
