Seattle duck boat tour

Took a short mini vacation to pick up my parents, and take in the sights. Tom was spectacularly annoying when let loose with Matt's "duck quacker" during an amphibious tour. of the city.

Lovely weekend with the cousins.Adorable little Jacob who never cries, Smiley Kyle and Adapatable Claire, these cousins are really getting on pretty well these days. I am so pleased. Adam is very pleased with hemself in this picture becasu ehe just got Jacob to sleep.

Indiana Jones Part 4

Swimmin has gone very well for Matt this summer. We tried a new program called Swim America. Matthew was able to progress high enough to be allowed to use the rope and diving board. This means a heck of a lot to him.

When in Rome.......

Well, this was the Fourth of July, what a great day we had and how wonderful it is to have real quality friends! We started off the day at Melanie's parents house and watched the parade with five families,a llopf whom we have known since way before Summer was born. At linchtime we were able to move ont to Melanie's beautiful abode for a wonderful bbq, our donation was teh bouncy house for added kid entertainment. Short rest in the afternoon was required so we coudl go back to Corbett school in the evening, dance to Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts and our kids saw their first ever organised fourth of July fireworks display. Nothing short of magical. Cant wait until next year.

This is now a favorite song in our house. Summer has taught it to the boys and everyone has learned to say "bottom" with a very English accent.

Matt's fishing adventure

Ok so I posted them in reverse order :s but this the story of Matt's fishing adventure at his cousin Natalie's fishing birthday party. Matt constantly asks to go fishing we have never really known why, but this day he was teh only one to catch fish in the whole group. You can see how proud he is. Unfortunately the fish died before he was able to throw it back in and he was VERY upset.

One of my main reasons to go to England was for Summer to get to know her British cousins a little better. Didn't take long until they were great friends and happily toasted their cousinness, their food, their water bottles, well anything really.
