The Woozleweb is named after my middle child, who is affectionately known as Woozle (though not in public) I started it years ago and then lost interest I guess. Now I am trying to resurrect my blogging ability and show a few of things that I dabble in throughout the day. My thought is that it will contain mostly craft projects and family activities but we shall see how it morphs over time.

Little Gymnast
Very very proud of Summer today. Four events, three blue ribbons, one red. One VERY happy little girl who seems to excel in all she does. Well done Summer.

Rocking Chair
So I have this old Rocking Chair hanging around. I bought it from a second hand store when my, now 14 year old, son was born. It was wooden and looked cute in the nursery but was decidedly uncomfortable to sit on. Nevertheless, we moved and dragged it with us, put it in the storage area when the kids were too old to have a rocking chair in their room. Several years ago I decided to get rid of it, but my husband said no. We should use it as out door seating for a while and when the weather finally destroys it we will throw it away.
So time passed and the chair did get old and yucky and again I suggested that it was time to let it go. Once again my husband decided to revive it, this time searching out any paint he could find he painted the whole thing, turquoise and purple. It looked like an Easter Egg but it definitely gave it a new life. Oh how I dislike it now though.
Then a plan began to hatch in my head. This is what I have done so far.
My next plan is to add mosaic flowers to the seat. Remember, it was already uncomfortable.

Here it is in all it's glory :) |
Hopefully you can see the numbers 2869, these are our house numbers. This Chair is now sitting on our front porch. |
